Germany - Eppelsheim
The Natural History Museum Mainz is excavating in the upper Miocene Dinotherien-sands at Eppelsheim near Alzey (Rhine Hesse). As a student you can join in this dig for bones and teeth of large mammals if you stay at least one month. Small vertebrate remains are gathered by charge with water. For a month work you get a salary of 460 EURO.
Note that there is no excavation in 2013 - the next season is planned for 2014.
