Germany - Münchehagen near Hannover
In 2004, an exciting excavation of dozens of excellently preserved dinosaur trackways started in Northern Germany. The iguanodontid and theropod tracks are preserved in sandstones, siltstones, and mudstones from the Lower Cretaceous. The Landesmuseum Hannover and the Dinosaurier-Park Münchehagen are always interested in motivated volonteers and trainees to support this scientific dig. Unfortunately, the travel costs cannot be reimbursed. However, accommodation is free and participants will receive 13 EUR for each day of work (German “Minijob” contract).
